Nice! I have 15 hours played in Cyberpunk 2077 but bounced off of it to focus on finishing Baldur's Gate 3. I'm gonna restart it once I finish BG3.
It's been fun thinking about vampire's in Cyberpunk 2077. For this story I'm playing through with Jeffrey, he would have lived through the corporate wars, the nuke blast at Arasaka HQ, the Time of the Red that followed, and the return of the Corps and the rebuilding of Night City. And a detail I've been considering is, what if in all that time he's avoided getting any Cyberware, Bioware, or Nanotech himself? That would make his vampire abilities pretty basic by 2077 standards, he'd be at a disadvantage in a lot of situations. Not having augmentations of any kind would raise suspicions too, given how common they are.
In Cyberpunk settings, life tends to have little value, it's all about how you lived and going out in a blaze of glory, etc. But if you're a vampire trying to live through that era and possibly beyond, you can't mess around with fleeting tech and short-sighted ideologies. What if he gets Cyberware installed and has to live through another apocalypse? Haha
My thoughts on this may change as I go though, we'll see where the game prompts take me.
I have Baldur’s Gate 3 and I really want to get deep into it, but my attempts so far have had me bouncing off it for some reason I can’t quite put my finger on. I don’t know why, because I played 1 and 2 back in the day for literally 100s of hours (each!)
Currently doing another Cyberpunk 2077 replay so this really resonates. I’m gonna be looking for vampires 🧛 in Night City nostalgia lol
